The Asention Day Church
| The building of this church was blessed by the Patriarch of Georgia Ilia the II. The foundation was blessed by the archpriest Michael Botkoveli last year. The author of the project is architect Rezo Janashia. The church is a three nave basilica with a western doorway. Its predator was a small wooden church built by Platon Ioseliani which was destroyed by the Totalitarian Regime. The church is 14.65 m long, 9m wide and 8.8m high. Its internal area is 79 square meters. It is decorated with stones and sand from Mtskheta.
