The disabled population of Georgia faces lot of hardships daily. Fate played a trick on Gogiberishvili family by chaining healthy people to the chair due to an accident. But Zaza and Marina never gave up on the hope to be able to walk again. They have a daughter – Nino. Rehabilitation courses are essential for Zaza and Marina. Unfortunately, low economic statues does not allow them to take the courses without help from the society. This year, Ertguleba Charity Fund financed their rehabilitation courses in Ukraine.

 

Luka Baghashvili

5 year old Luka Baghashvili has a very serious congenital heart disease. He already had two surgeries in Georgia but the parents could not afford the third, urgent one in Germany. They contacted Ertguleba Charity Fund that aided and co-financed Luka’s trip to Germany.

 

Mariam Chubinidze

10 year old Mariam Chubinidze has congenital cerebral disease and blindness. Her large family could not afford the complex surgical procedures little girl needed. Ertguleba Charity Fund has already financed three of these operations.
 

 

Father Nicholas

For years Father Nicholas has been the head of the Tskhum-Abkhazia Eparchy. He had serious health problems but due to ascetic lifestyle had trouble with treatment payment. Ertguleba Charity Fund helpen Father Nicholas with his surgical and conservative treatment. 

 

Johnny Bakuridze

Johnny Bakuridze miraculously survived a car accident. Ertguleba Charity Fund co-financed his urgent surgery.

 

Nicholas Akhalaia

Ertguleba Charity Fund financed a rehabilitation course in Akhtala for 3 year old Nicholas Akhalaia suffering from cerebral palsy.
