Triple-Church Basilica of Virgin Mary near the village Zegaani, in Gurjaani Region is a component part of monastery. The church was built in the 6^th-7^th centuries. The monastery belongs to the Eparchy of Gurjaani and Velistsikhe. For centuries the prayers were not held in the church. From April 27, 2008 it was renewed by holding Easter Prayer. The celebrity liturgy was held by monastery leader priest-monk Serafiel. Since then the monastery holds prayers on all orthodox celebrities.

At present this oldest monastery is being reconstructed. There was built a house for monks. On the first floor it will have a refectory, but the second some cells. From this year, June  ERTGULEBA Charity Fund participated in reconstruction activities of monastery by taking responsibility its renovation. Currently renovation of the building is already finalized.
