According to the legend, Assyrian Fathers have founded Convent of Kathrine the same Olginsk Convent in the 6th century, though historical data about its existance is found only since 19th century. From the begining of 2009 fund has launched its participation into the reconstruction works of oldest church. There is already renovated Church of Virgin Mary’s Birth. In September under the support of fund new stone floor was applied in the main church of convent.
